1. 委託操作費用 (Commissioning fee )
1-1 學術單位 (Academic institute) –
– 樣品4片(含)以下：NT$ 2000/hour
– 第5片起，每片加收NT$500/piece-15min minutes
1-2 業界 (Corporation) –
– 樣品4片(含)以下：NT4000/hour
– 第5片起，每片加收NT$1000/piece-15min minutes
PS. 每片不限點數，唯量測上限為15分鐘

2. 自行操作會員收費 (independent-operation fee)
2-1 學術單位 (Academic institute) –
單次儲值:
– 未滿40小時：NT$10000/10 hours,
– 40小時(含)以上：NT$38000/40 hours
2-2 業界 (Corporation) –
– 專案收費請來信討論Special project fee

3. 自行操作訓練 (Training fee)
若由各單位合格操作者自行訓練，其訓練使用時數由各單位之會員時數扣除費用
若委託本中心代為訓練，費用為：
If training is conducted by a qualified operator, the charge for the training period will be deducted from the membership account of the institute. If the training is conducted by the administrator, the charge is as follows:

3-1 學術單位 (Academic institute) –
– NT$2000/hr-person
3-2 業界 (Corporation) –
– 專案收費請來信討論Special project fee

管理及服務辦法 User regulations

1. 本機台為B級機台，提供委託及自行操作服務。
The system is classified as a Grade B instrument, and operation can be carried out by the individual making the reservation or by qualified personnel.

2. 申請委託操作者須事先與儀器管理員連絡並進行實驗討論評估，確認試片規格是否合乎規範，並由管理員估價計算費用後，經指導教授或主管同意後，方可提出申請。
Those applying for commissioned operation should discuss and evaluate the experiment with the instrument administrator in advance, ensuring that the samples are suited for the instrument. The application can be filed after the cost is estimated by the administrator and approved by either the advisor or the supervisor.

3. 委託操作申請者請先至本中心網站下載『confocal實驗申請單』詳填資訊，並以E-mail向儀器負責人洽詢使用時段及確認實驗條件與試片製備。取得報價後，將實驗申請單送交至黃婉珍助理(固態電子大樓R204室, 分機55639)以便進行後續的繳費事宜。
註：若有需求，委託申請人可要求現場共同進行實驗。
Each case of commissioned operation is by reservation only. Applicants who have been evaluated and approved can download the “Confocal application form” from the CNST website. Applicants are required to contact the instrument administrator via email to confirm the available time slot, sample preparation, and measurement conditions.
Upon receiving the quotation, the completed application form should be submitted to Ms. Huang at Room R204, CNST.
PS. On-site participation during the experiment can be requested by the applicants if needed.

4. 申請自行操作者，可於與儀器負責人連絡並進行實驗討論評估，確認試片規格是否合乎規範。經指導教授或主管同意後，始可申請加入本中心會員並提出自行操作訓練考核申請，其訓練考核程序請參照『自行操作訓練與考核辦法』，通過考核後始可自行操作。
The applicant who is willing to operate the instrument by himself should discuss the details of his experiment, such as sample confirmation and fabrication, with the administrator first. After obtaining permission from the supervisor, the applicant can apply for membership in the center as well as evaluation of the operation and training. For details about evaluation procedures, please refer to “Guideline for independent operation and evaluation.” Those who pass the evaluation can operate the instrument independently.

5. 自行操作者採取網路預約，通過機台考核之合格使用者始可取得網路預約之帳號。欲加入會員及申請訓練者請先至本中心網站下載『Confocal實驗申請單』，詳填資訊後送交至黃婉珍助理(固態電子大樓R204室, 分機55639)，並以E-mail與儀器負責人洽詢訓練考核相關事宜。
The qualified users can make reservations online. After passing the practical evaluation, users can obtain an account number for online reservation purposes. Those who wish to apply for membership and training should download the “Confocal application form” from our website. After completing the form, submit it to Ms. Huang at Room R204, CNST, and contact the instrument administrator via email for details regarding training and evaluation.

6. 使用者須遵守實驗室所有相關規定。違反實驗室規定者依本中心實驗室管理規則辦理。
Users must abide by the regulations of the laboratory.
Those in violation of lab regulations are subject to punishment accordingly.

7. 如有任何疑問，歡迎來信洽詢儀器負責人員。

自行操作訓練與考核辦法 Guideline for independent operation and evaluation

1. 申請者自行下載『Confocal實驗申請單』，完成申請及繳費程序後自行與儀器聯絡人接洽訓練事宜。
Applicants should download the “Confocal Application Form” and complete the application and payment procedures. Once completed, please contact the instrument administrator to arrange training. We will respond to your application as soon as possible.

2. 本機台訓練時數須達3小時以上，方可提出機台考核申請。考核通過後，可於週一至週五8:00~17:00自行操作。
周末、國定假日、彈性放假配合行事曆紅字、颱風假等等皆為非上班時段，若於上述時段操作都將視為違規使用。
Users must complete at least 3 hours of training before applying for a qualification assessment. Once approved, users may independently operate the instrument from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Operation during Weekends, public holidays, floating holidays aligned with red-letter days on the NYCU calendar, and typhoon days will be considered a violation.

3. 合格使用者皆有訓練新訓人員之義務。
Qualified users are expected to assist in training new users.

4. 各實驗室可自行訓練新訓人員。
Each lab may conduct training for new users at its own discretion.

5. 考核通過者：
For qualified users:
(a) 甫考核通過後的28日內許至少有一筆預約及使用紀錄，否則將暫停權限。
Newly qualified users must have at least one booking and usage record within 28 days.
Otherwise, their access will be revoked, and reassessment will be required.

(b) 日後若連續180日無操作紀錄，將取消其自行操作資格。若需自行操作，則需另行申請、訓練、考核。
Users with no operation records for 180 consecutive days will lose their independent usage privilege.
If further use is needed, please consult the instrument administrator directly.

6. 本中心將於實驗完畢後依據使用時間斟酌自儲值費用中扣取實驗費用。
Experiment fees will be deducted from the user’s pre-paid account based on the usage time after the session is completed.

樣品規範 Sample specifications

1. 粉末或液體樣品請先與管理員確認。
Powder or liquid samples must be approved by the instrument manager prior to use.

2. 量測液體或粉末樣品時，請務必使用蓋玻片或以50x物鏡以及長焦距100x物鏡進行量測的。若發生汙染物鏡之情況，將會請該使用者所屬的實驗室代為支付更保養或換新物鏡的費用。
When measuring powder or liquid samples, please use the 100x long working distance or 50x objective lens.
Please DO NOT use the 100x short working distance objective.
If contamination occurs, the user’s affiliated lab will be asked to cover the cost of cleaning or replacing the objective lens.

2.樣品的尺寸需小於100 mm x 100 mm
The sample size must be under 100 mm x 100 mm

3.存取資料請自備空白光碟片。為避免設備中毒，禁用隨身碟進行檔案傳輸。
Please bring your own blank CD for data storage.
USB flash drives are strictly prohibited to prevent virus infection.

4.若因個人操作不當造成儀器損壞，本中心可視情況要求操作者所屬實驗室主管做合理的賠償，唯匿情不報者除要求賠償外，並撤銷其單位往後的使用資格。
If the instrument is damaged due to improper personal operation, CNST may require the operator’s adviser to make reasonable compensation. Failure to report such damage will result in the disqualification of the entire lab from future use.

5 量測完成後請務必關閉雷射。未關閉者，將針對該會員收取自實驗完成到發現的時間為止，此時段等值的1/3使用費，並將該學生停權2週。
After measurements, please turn off the laser.
If the laser is left on, one-third of the time between the experiment’s end and the time it is discovered will be deducted from the member’s usage quota, and the user will be suspended for two weeks.
